Pierced air-conditioner covers for residential buildings

It is one of our featured projects: a residential building with coloured pierced covers on every balcony. Where you used to see units and pipes, there is now a colour pattern that identifies the building from the street.

The covers were laser-cut, painted in several colours and installed at height by our own crew.

A badly planned cover makes the condenser recirculate its own hot air and work harder. The piercing is designed with enough open area for air to get in and out, and the cover stands far enough from the unit to allow maintenance. Removable doors or panels let the AC technician work without taking the whole piece down.

In a new project, it pays to decide on the covers together with the façade: the developer gets a uniform image and avoids each owner covering their unit their own way. In an existing building, the condominium administration can approve a common design and each unit installs the same model.

You choose the design, one of ours such as Cayena, Palms or Taíno, or your own, and the colour. We cut galvanized steel, stainless steel or aluminium, depending on exposure to the sea.

The covers are outdoors and often facing the sea. The Coast Plan checks for rust and salt-air corrosion and touches up paint and anchors. Every piece carries its QR-code plate, with its date of manufacture and its warranty.

Send us a photo of the façade and a close-up of one of the units, with its approximate size and the space available on the balcony or roof. If there are several identical units, tell us how many.
