Metal façades for hotels

For the Hotel Hilton we fabricated a metal façade and painted it in the colour approved by the hotel. In a project like this, the brand sets the shade, the rhythm of the panels and the way light passes through them; our job is to make sure the fabricated piece is exactly the one the designer approved.

That is why the process starts in 3D: you see the whole façade, panel by panel, before we cut the first sheet.

There are three families of façade we often make. Façades with volume use folded, perforated panels that give the building its shape. Perforated façades wrap the building and let air and light through, useful for hiding staircases, corridors or equipment. And pierced façades carry a pattern: circles where every panel is different and the whole façade reads as one image, or tropical designs with palms, leaves and flowers.

We cut carbon steel, galvanized steel, stainless steel and aluminium. Material and thickness are set for your project, the height and the exposure to the sea.

We install with our own crew, also at height. Every panel leaves the plant numbered and goes up in its position, so the façade’s pattern stays continuous.

Facing the sea, the Coast Plan checks for rust and salt-air corrosion and touches up paint and anchors. Every piece carries its QR-code plate, with its record of inspections and maintenance.

Many façades are replaced in hotels that stay open. Because the panels arrive cut, painted and numbered, the work on site comes down to installation and can be organised by blocks, following the occupancy calendar the hotel gives us.
