Panels and transfer switches for clinics and hospitals

In a clinic, backup power is not a luxury: some equipment cannot go off and some patients cannot wait. We assemble panels and transfer switches for healthcare buildings and alert your phone when the generator starts, when it fails or when it is due for maintenance.

Separating what must not fail

In a healthcare building the installation is organised by priority: some circuits must come back within seconds, such as operating rooms, intensive care or medicine refrigeration, and others can wait. That split is decided in the design of the panels and the transfer switch, together with the project’s electrical engineer.

We assemble the panels and transfer switches on our electrical assembly line, following the approved design. Reference codes such as the NEC or IEC standards are set by the facility’s designer; our job is to make sure every panel leaves assembled, labelled and tested as the drawing says.

Knowing before it fails

Monitored transfer switches send an alert to your phone when the generator starts, when it fails or when it is due for maintenance. For a clinic manager that means finding out about a generator problem on a Tuesday afternoon, not on the day of the blackout.

We can also measure consumption, voltage and temperature on the main panels and alert you when something is out of the ordinary, for example a panel running hotter than usual.

Maintenance with a report

The Energy Plan includes a thermal-camera check for hot spots, tightening of connections and cleaning, a transfer switch test with the generator and a report with measurements. It is the paperwork the administrator needs to show that the backup installation is checked regularly.

Every panel carries its QR-code plate with the inspections and tests carried out, the warranty and the maintenance history.

Extensions without cutting service

When a clinic adds a new area, the new panel is assembled complete in the plant, tested and delivered ready to connect. That keeps the outage needed for the connection short, scheduled at the time the medical management decides.

Frequently asked questions

Do you design the clinic’s electrical installation?

The design is signed by the project’s electrical engineer. We assemble panels and transfer switches to that design and help review it with our engineering team.

Can you alert me if the generator fails?

Yes. Monitored transfer switches alert your phone when the generator starts, when it fails or when it is due for maintenance.

Do you hold medical certifications?

We do not mention certifications we cannot show. The applicable standards are set by the designer; ask us about what your project requires.
