Automatic transfer switches for villas and condominiums
If your villa or condominium has a generator, the transfer switch is what brings the power back by itself when it goes. We assemble it on our electrical assembly line and, if you wish, monitor it, so wherever you are you can see from your phone whether the generator started.
For owners who are not always there
Many villas in Punta Cana, Cap Cana and Bávaro stand empty for weeks or are let as holiday rentals. If the generator fails to start during a blackout, the fridge, the pool pumps and the air conditioning go off without anyone knowing. With a monitored transfer switch you get an alert when the generator starts, when it fails or when it is due for maintenance.
In condominiums, one generator for everyone
In condominiums the standby generator usually feeds common areas, water pumps, lifts and gates. The transfer switch and the panels for those loads are assembled in our plant to the project’s design. The administrator receives the alerts and can show the owners that the system is checked.
Under the Energy Plan we test the transfer switch with the generator, check the panels with a thermal camera for hot spots, tighten connections and clean, with a report of measurements.
Measuring the villa’s consumption
The same panel can measure consumption, voltage and temperature. For a rental villa it is a simple way to see whether a guest left the air conditioning on all week, or whether a piece of equipment is starting to draw more than usual, a sign it needs checking.
Every transfer switch leaves with its QR-code plate: date of manufacture, tests carried out, warranty and a button to request service.
What to send us
To quote we need the make and rating of the generator, photos of the current panel and of where the transfer switch would go, and the list of what you want backed up. With that we send a clear price, with what it includes and the delivery time, and schedule the installation with our own crew.
