Industrial buildings in La Romana
La Romana combines industry, a port, a free zone and tourism in one south-eastern city. We fabricate industrial and commercial buildings for La Romana in our plant on Av. Barceló and take them along the Autovía del Coral, which links La Romana with Higüey and Punta Cana.
An industrial city
Unlike purely tourist areas, La Romana has an industrial tradition, port activity and free-zone parks, besides its hotel and residential offer. That translates into jobs for production buildings, logistics warehouses, industrial maintenance workshops and service premises for the city.
For a production building we start from your equipment layout and material flow, and our multidisciplinary engineering team reviews the structure before cutting.
Along the Autovía del Coral
The Autovía del Coral links La Romana with Higüey and the Punta Cana and Bávaro area, where our plant is. Columns, beams and purlins travel along it already fabricated, drilled and painted, numbered to go up in order. On site we lift columns and portal frames by crane until the building takes shape.
Before fabricating we visit the site to measure with digital equipment and plan truck and crane access.
South coast, salt air and rain
La Romana lies on the Caribbean coast, with sea breeze and salt air in the areas close to the sea and the Chavón river. The structure is painted in the plant before it leaves, and the Coast Plan checks rust and corrosion, paint, anchors, bolts and welds, with a report and photos.
Structure and electrics
The same job can include panels, transfer switches and enclosures assembled on our electrical assembly line, and remote monitoring of your equipment’s consumption, voltage and temperature. For an industry, that means one supplier for the building and the power that drives it.
Send us the location, the use and the approximate size, and we will send a clear price with the delivery time.
For tourism too
The tourist and residential area of La Romana and Bayahíbe also calls for steel: service buildings for hotels, aluzinc roofs for villas, pergolas and staircases. Everything comes from the same plant along the same road, and the same crew that erects the building can look after the maintenance of the project’s other structures.
