Aluzinc roofs in La Romana
Between the villas of the resort complexes, the residential developments of Bayahíbe and the city’s industrial buildings, La Romana calls for very different roofs. We make tile-profile and plain aluzinc to fit each of them and bring it from our plant along the Autovía del Coral.
Villas and tourist developments
In the villas of La Romana and the residential developments of Bayahíbe and Dominicus, the roof is part of the house’s style. Tile-profile aluzinc gives the look of a tiled roof in the colour the architect chooses, with a much lighter sheet, and is made to the exact length of each slope.
In houses let by the season, it pays to plan the re-roofing between bookings: with the sheets already made, time on the roof is shorter.
Industrial buildings and shops
In the city and its industrial areas, plain aluzinc covers industrial buildings, warehouses, workshops and canopies. If the whole building is new, we fabricate it in structural steel in our plant, roof included.
Caribbean coast
La Romana lies on the Caribbean Sea. Near the coast, salt air attacks the sheet edges and the bolts first. The Coast Plan checks rust and corrosion and tightens the bolts, with a report and photos. And in the hurricane season, from June to November, a roof that is well fixed and checked is the best prevention.
Logistics along the Autovía del Coral
The Autovía del Coral links La Romana with Higüey and the Punta Cana and Bávaro area, where we fabricate. The sheets travel already cut to the length of each slope, labelled by roof zone, and our own crew installs them.
Before fabrication we visit the site to measure with digital equipment. Send us photos of the roof, the location and the profile you like, and we send a clear price, with what it includes and the delivery time.
Frame and roof together
When the old roof rests on timber or on sections damaged by salt air, replacing only the sheet does not solve the problem. Our engineering team reviews the existing frame and, if needed, we replace it with a steel one fabricated and painted in our plant, which arrives together with the sheets and goes up in the same job.
