Waste bins for town councils and public spaces
A clean park starts with bins people want to use and that last on the street. We make pierced metal waste bins for town councils, district boards and developers of public spaces, with the municipality’s crest or name laser-cut into them.
Identity on the street
A metal bin with its own design says something about the place: Taíno, with drawings from the Taíno tradition; Cayena, with the flower of Dominican gardens; or Palms, with the leaves that line beaches and avenues. With the municipality’s name or crest cut into the sheet, street furniture becomes part of the town’s image.
Designed for public space
On the street, a piece has to stand up to sun, rain, heavy use and, sometimes, vandalism. So the bins are made of metal, painted in the plant and fixed to the ground to suit the location. The piercing lets the contents be seen, which helps cleaning staff and security in busy places.
On seafronts and beach areas, salt air is the main enemy. The Coast Plan checks rust and corrosion and touches up paint, with a report and photos the council can include in its records.
A set for the plaza
The bins go with our benches and armchairs with a curved metal frame and wooden slats, and with the motorcycle-taxi shelters in the Palms, Cayena and Taína designs. One project can renew the furniture of a plaza or a seafront with pieces that read as a single set.
If the plaza needs a covered court, a kiosk or a pergola, those come from our plant too.
How we work with institutions
To quote we need the number of pieces, the chosen design or designs, the crest or name as a vector file and the places where they will be installed. We send a clear quote, with what it includes and the delivery time, which you can attach to your procurement process. We work all over the Dominican Republic.
A pilot before the series
For a council that wants to renew the street furniture of several streets, good practice is to start with a pilot: a few pieces in one plaza or one stretch of the seafront. That tests the design, the colour and the fixing under real use, and the full series is made afterwards with whatever adjustments are needed.
