Metal façades in Santo Domingo

Perforated façades wrap the building and let air and light through: on an office tower they filter the sun without darkening the floors, and on a parking building they ventilate while hiding the vehicles. Façades with volume, with folded and perforated panels, give shape to a building that would otherwise be a box.

For shops, restaurants and plazas we cut signs, totems and pierced façades with the brand’s logo or motif. A cut-pattern sign lit from behind reads at night from the avenue; a totem at the plaza entrance gathers every shop into one piece.

Inside the building, cut-pattern walls for receptions and function rooms, dividers with light for offices and double-height lattice screens for lobbies and staircases add character without building walls. They are made the same way as the façade: cut to size, painted and numbered.

The panels travel from Av. Barceló along the Autovía del Coral and the Autovía del Este, packed and numbered by their position on the façade. On site, mounting follows the drawing panel by panel so the pattern stays continuous. We install with our own team, at height too.

We cut carbon steel, galvanized steel, stainless steel and aluminium. For large façades, aluminium lightens the load on the building’s structure; for pieces that get touched or knocked, steel gives more strength. We set it with your architect to suit the project.

The process is the same for a tower façade as for a sign: first the 3D design, panel by panel, so you and your architect approve the pattern; then cutting, bending and painting in our plant; and finally mounting on site with our own team. During fabrication you receive progress photos, and every piece leaves with its QR-code plate.
